Yeah! We finished painting and took down the sheeting! The tape came up really well. We used blue painters tape (not too sticky, so pulls off more easily) and 2" wide masking tape. Scott also found pre-taped 2' wide sheeting, which was great around the edges of the room. Then there were the numerous drop cloths, and hallway runners. There's a couple spots we need to go back and work off the tape, and a few more touch-ups that we missed. We probably ought to repaint some of the baseboard, door frames, and possibly window trim, but we're sick to death of latex, and are going to put it off until spring. The hot water baseboards have too much old paint on them, and should be sandblasted or something before they get painted again. The trim around the windows was done fairly recently, and may not need to be redone. That would be nice.
