Linguistics map

This was an amusing survey that actually had a scientific foundation.

You’re asked a series of questions about what you call particular things. You know – that tiny lobster like thing in fresh water is a what? A road that parallels the highway is known as what?

And many more, some of which had me scratching my head. What does it mean, if anything that I called sow bugs ‘roly-polies’ as a child but now call them pill bugs?

Fun.

The craw dad answer put me squarely in Santa Rosa, pretty solid I thought.
